The logo
A home under a rising sun with leaves growing through it, ringed by a single green stroke, above the Grihvatika.org wordmark. The mark carries the whole idea of the organisation: the garden of the home.
Keep clear space of at least half the ring’s height on every side. Never stretch it, recolour it, add a shadow, or set it on a busy photograph. On a dark ground, place it on a white or cream rounded plate rather than knocking it out to one colour — the leaves need their tonal range to read.
Colour
Deep forest green carries the brand. The lighter greens do the work of interface and hover states. Sand and terracotta are the warm counterweight and appear in small amounts — a soil band, a roof, a highlight.

Type
Caprasimo is the display voice — headings, the wordmark, the big number in a statistic. Never body text, never under 18px. Figtree carries everything else, from 12px labels to 16px prose: regular for body copy, 700 for labels, 800 for the rare emphatic line.
Voice
Plain, warm and practical. We write as one gardener to another: short sentences, real quantities, no hype. A tip earns its place by being something you could do this weekend on a balcony.
We say tulsi before Ocimum tenuiflorum, name the season in Indian months, and admit when a plant is difficult. We never promise a cure, never shame a dead plant, and never pad a page to look authoritative. British spelling, Indian units and rupees, sentence case in interface labels, and “Grihvatika.org” written in full on first mention.
Using the brand
Schools, societies and volunteers are welcome to use the logo on material about a Grihvatika programme — a workshop poster, a notice board, a school newsletter. Do not use it to imply we endorse a product, a paid service or a political campaign. For logo files, colour values and print-ready guide sheets, write to us and say what you are making.
